Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is an American rapper, singer and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is a combination of the name of a favorite uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott was signed to his first major-label deal in 2012 with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording agreement with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013. He has signed with Epic as well as T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first project that was full-length the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in the year 2013. The mixtape was then followed by Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was a hit due to the track "Antidote". His second album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first album to top the charts on the Billboard 200. In the following year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo called Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018 his third studio album, Astroworld, was released to great acclaim. It also featured the debut Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. Scott's track "Franchise" with Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, was released. Scott became the Hot 100's first artist to have three singles reach number 1 in less that a year in 2020.
